2.3.1 Update

  • Introducing the Webphone app for iOS and Android! To start using the Webphone mobile app:
    • Create a Webphone account for the user if you don't already have one.
    • Add a device type called ‘Webphone mobile’ to the user.
    • Download the app to your smartphone. Download links are available in the user settings and in the ‘Download’ section of Webphone for browser.
  • Features of the app:
    • Receive incoming calls in any state of your phone: even when it is locked.
    • Make outgoing calls with the ability to quickly change caller ID.
Make blind and attended transfers, receive and make calls to a second line and organise a 3-way conference.
    • Notifications of missed incoming calls.
    • Control the recording of conversations during a call (if recording is enabled for the user).
    • Listen to and download call recordings from call history (if user recording is enabled and cloud storage is used).
    • Control the sound source during a call: top or bottom speaker, and Bluetooth headset if connected.
    • Access to PBX phonebooks configured for the user as well as phone contacts.
    • Call history with search by number or contact name, along with filters by date and call type.
    • Make quick calls to your contacts by tapping on their phone number. And in the call history by tapping the call type or in the call details.
    • Switch the DND mode on and off.
  • At the moment, some features that are available in browser or desktop Webphone, such as CRM integrations, queue membership, call parking, voicemail and SMS are missing. We are working hard to add them to the mobile apps as soon as possible.
